One of the reasons that I created this blog was to offer a forum-like venue to help answer your burning questions.
So, I want to open up the floor and give you the opportunity to ask for the content that you want, not what I think you should know.
Please feel free to email your health, fitness, and nutrition questions to me at info@adonisfitness.ca or post them in the comments section below each post.
I may not always be able to respond right away, but I try my best to get back to everyone within 48 hours.
So, if you have a question, don't be shy. And chances are there are hundreds - if not thousands of people out there with the very same question

Hi, Rylan:
ReplyDeleteI have some questions about nutrition. One of the books I read talked about eating protein, carbs, and healthy fat together every time you eat. Another book I read talked about eating protein and carbs together. Both books talked about eating five or six smaller meals a day. I'd like to know your opinion on eating the combination of protein, carbs, and healthy fats at each meal and whether that's something you recommend. I'd also like to know if you have any suggestions for things to eat that are quick and easy, especially when you're on the go and need something portable or you don't have time to cook something.
Thanks so much!
Vicki,
ReplyDeleteThis is a really great question, and one that I have spent some serious time studying.
You have likley come across some materials at some point about 'food combining' and how certain foods should not be consumed with certain others at the risk of 'hampering' digestion and increasing the liklihood of storing excess body fat.
While the answer to this question is rather lengthy, (and one that I will address in a full post in the near future), you can rest assured that a good combination of all food types (starch, protein, healthy fat) is the best method.
Thanks for your question, and keep checking back for a more thorough reply.
